Yala Peak (5,700 m) is one of the easiest trekking peaks in the Nepal Himalayan ranges of the Langtang area. Nepal Mountaineering Association has considered it a trekking peak which is a relatively simple, non-technical climb. With the highest elevation of 5,700 meters, the summit has an excellent central position in the Annapurna range. The Yala peak is mostly renowned for the superb view of surprisingly beautiful Shishapangma, the highest mountain wholly in Tibet.

The Yala Peak Climbing starts with a drive to Dhunche and passes through the different ethnic villages of Langtang valley and Kyanjin Gompa. The journey goes through the adventurous dense forest of Langtang national park and traditional ethnic settlements before we reach the base camp of Yala Peak. On the way as well as from the summit, we are rewarded with the stunning Himalayan view of beautiful mountains like Langtang Lirung (7,246 m), Lenpo Gang (7,083 m), Dorje Lakpa (6,990 m) and the Tibetan highest mountain Shishapangma (8,013 m).
