The adventurous journey of a lifetime to Everest Base Camp begins with a scenic mountain flight with a picturesque view of great Himalayas from Kathmandu to Lukla. The hike takes us through culturally enriched villages and viewpoints such as Phakding, Namche Bazaar (3440m), Tengboche (3870m), Dingboche (4350m), Lobuche (4930m), Gorak Shep (5160m), Everest Base Camp (5380m) and Kala Patthar (5545m). The trek rewards us with breathtaking panoramic views of Himalayan giants like Mount Everest (8848m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Lhotse (8516m), Mount Nuptse (7855m), Ama Dablam (6812m), Mount Thamserku (6723m), Imja Tse/Island Peak (6189m) and other several peaks. The famous Khumbu Glacier and Khumbu Icefall are also one of the highlights of the treks we get to explore along the way.

Aside from awe-inspiring scenery, you can also experience distinctive Sherpa culture of the Himalayas by visiting ancient monasteries and museums along the way.   • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

    Welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, one of a member of Trekkers Nepal will wholeheartedly greet you and drive you to the hotel. After check-in, you can either take a rest or hang around in the city. In the evening, we will do briefing about the journey to Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Hotel.


  • Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,860 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m)

    Early morning, we drive to the airport and take a 35 to 40 minutes’ scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Upon arrival at the airport, the guides will brief us about the trek and introduce porters who will divide the baggage.  After that, we take some time to relish the beauty of one of the most enthralling airports in the world and Lukla town before we begin our trek towards Phakding. Following Dudhkoshi River, we gradually descend to Chheplung village which is the perfect place to get a sight of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been mounted. We further go downhill the trails and pass through Ghat to reach our today’s destination, Phakding. We can wander around the village in the evening. Overnight in Phakding.


  • Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

    After breakfast, continuing our trek, we take a stiff walk through a beautiful pine forest that leads us to the gateway of the Sagarmatha National Park after passing Chumoa and Monjo villages. Crossing a suspension bridge, we ascend all the way to Jorsale and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers and cross several suspension bridges before we climb uphill to Namche Bazaar enjoying the majestic view of Mount Everest on the way. Namche Bazaar which is the biggest Sherpa town for travelers to purchase traditional crafts and other souvenirs. We spend two days in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and visit local markets and explore the traditions of people living in the Himalayas. Overnight at Namche.


  • Day 04: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

    Even the fittest person is prone to altitude sickness, so it is recommended that we take an altitude acclimatization rest day in Namche before we ascend further towards EBC. You can choose to do whatever you wish to do for the day. But if you feel like walking, we can hike up to the Everest View Point for great panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache and more. On our way back, we can visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery where we can observe an assortment of things. We can also learn about the Sherpas couture and their lifestyle in the Himalayas. You can also go to internet cafes, pizza houses, and bakeries in your free time. Overnight at guesthouse.


  • Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3,870 m)

    After breakfast, we again continue our journey through beautiful lush forest with a wonderful view of mountains along ascending and descending trails. We pass through several chortens and Mani walls and small villages including Kenjuma and Sanasa with a great view of the mighty peaks like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde continuously throughout the day. It has a large campsite, tea houses and lodges overseeing Mt. Ama Dablam. We take it easy climbing up to Tengboche. The air is thinner here which might make you fall sick. We rest for the night in Tengboche.


  • Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4,410 m)

    After early breakfast at Tengboche, we head out towards Deboche exploring the beautiful rhododendron, conifers, and birch forest. We hike downhill to Debuche and cross another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja River relishing the spectacular view of Mount Ama Dablam to climb up to Pangboche. When we reach Pangboche Monastery, the view of the Himalayan view becomes closer. We continue our walk and pass through the Imja Valley and Lobuche River. Crossing another suspension bridge and with a continuous climb, the trails eventually lead us to Dingboche. Overnight at picturesque village Dingboche and rest next day here too for adaptation with the Himalayan atmosphere.


  • Day 07: Acclimatization Day: Hike up to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083 m)

    It is an acclimatization day again. Instead of staying idle, we hike to Nangkartshang peak just above Dingboche to enjoy a panoramic view of surrounding mountains like Mount Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Mt. Ama Dablam. Additionally, we can also admire the view of Cholatse and Taboche peaks. We also explore Chhukung valley and its surrounding. From another site on edge, we can also admire the picturesque Imja Khola Valley and the beautiful Dingboche village. After a fantastic exploration and acclimatization hike, we trek back to Dingboche for the overnight.


    Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4,930 m)

    Today, we again forge ahead towards EBC continuing along the sideways glacial deposit of the Khumbu Glacier and pass by emotive stone memorials for climbers and Sherpas who have lost their lives on nearby summits. The end of the moraine of the glacier is steep which presents a great challenge to trekkers. However, overcoming such challenging task feels impressive as we find ourselves facing several great peaks including Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. As we cross a Khumbu Glacier, we can also see the breathtaking view of Mt. Nuptse. Slowly, we head to the village of Lobuche placed at the foot of giant Lobuche Peak. We rest for the night at Lobuche.


  • Day 9: Trek to Gorak Shep (5,160 m) and Visit Everest Base Camp (5,380 m)

    Today is the day when we finally step on to the ultimate destination of the journey, Everest Base Camp at the elevation of 5,380 meters. We take an exciting walk along the Khumbu Glacier and reach Gorak Shep, the final stop before Everest Base Camp. After one to two hours of climbing from Gorak Shep, we finally reach the base camp just below the Khumbu Ice Fall. We enjoy the incredible melt patterns and admire the gently rounded ice towers on the upper part of the Khumbu glacier. The Everest Base Camp is stunningly beautiful. We can enjoy marvelous views of Nuptse, Khumbutse and Pumori mountains from the camp. Also, we will get the chance to meet a lot of trekking enthusiasts and even mountain climbers attempting to climb the Mount Everest. After capturing the unbelievable views of majestic beauty in camera and mostly in the heart, we return to Gorak Shep where for the overnight.


  • Day 10: Hike up to Kala Patthar (5,643 m) and Trek Down to Pheriche (4,371 m)

    Today is another important day of the trek as we wake up early before dawn to climb the cliff behind the lodges named Kala Patthar (5643 m) for a mesmeric sunrise view over the glorious Mount Everest (8,848 m).  Kala Patthar, the highest point of the whole trek, rewards us with close-up panoramic views of Mount Everest and its neighboring giant peaks such as Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and numerous other soaring mounts. After relishing the Himalayan beauty from Kala Patthar, we return to Gorakshep on a gentle way back. After lunch, we head back down to the same way we climbed to Pheriche. After a tiring day, we stay for the night at Pheriche.


  • Day 11: Trek Down to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

    Leaving the highest points Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar behind, we descend through Debuche and Tengboche till Phunkithanga. From here, we will ascend towards Namche walking on a stress-free path. Enjoy your last moments to the fullest roaming around in Namche Bazaar. We rest for the night at Namche.


  • Day 12: Trek Down to Lukla (2,860 m)

    Today, our trails are all descending, and we will be trekking for the last time in the Everest region as we trek down to Lukla. We hike towards the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through the prayer flags above the spouting Dudh Koshi river. Upon our arrival in Lukla brings an evening in our last Tea House. We enjoy the evening traditionally with our trekking crew and thanks them for their support throughout our journey to the Everest region. Last overnight in the Himalayas.


  • Day 13: Fly Back to Kathmandu

    Leaving the mountains behind and enjoying mesmeric Himalayan views for the last time we fly back to Kathmandu early in the morning.  As we reach Kathmandu airport, you’ll be transported to your hotel upon landing for some much-needed rest. In the afternoon, we can go for a tour to some of the UNESCO World Heritage sites like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath Stupa and Boudhanath Stupa. You have a full day sightseeing tour around these places which help you to explore the Kathmandu Valley closely. You can also go for a keepsake shopping to bring some things for memories from Nepal. We’ll meet in the evening for a farewell dinner at one of the best Nepalese restaurants in Kathmandu making your last night as pleasant as possible.


  • Day 14- Departure Day

    Your adventurous journey in Nepal concludes today. We drive you to the airport to fly your onward destination 2-3 hours before your scheduled flight.
