Everest Helicopter Tour Overview

The flight starts from Kathmandu, and passes through Lukla, Namche Bazar, and Everest Base Camp, exploring all along the Everest region. Moreover, magnificent views of Lhotse, Nuptse & other towering mountains including Cho-Oyu (8201 m), Makalu (8463 m), and Kanchenjunga (8536 m), can be observed during this amazing flight experience. Itinerary

Make your way to your hotel and be sure to rest in preparation for tomorrow’s flight.
Pick up and drop at the Kathmandu airport: At 6 o'clock, a car sent for your party size will pick you up from the hotel. Therefore, please make sure to arrive 10 minutes early. For formalities, you will be taken to the airport's domestic terminal. Make sure to have your tickets and passport on you at all times. An airport official will examine your ticket and documents once you check in at the domestic terminal. Fly to Lukla: After completing the airport requirements at 7:00 am, the helicopter takes off from Kathmandu’s domestic airport to Lukla. During this flight, you will get a lovely aerial view of the Kathmandu valley and during the journey over the Himalayas, soaring past 8 of the 10 highest peaks in the world. Fly to Kalapatthar: The flight will head towards Kala Patthar after 15 minutes. As the flight progresses, there is a shift in the landscape. You will fly over Namche Bazar, beautiful hotel settlements around Namche, and over Ama Dablam. Explore Kalapatthar: At 8:30 we land at Kalapatthar. It is found at an altitude of 5,545 meters and offers one of the best vantage points for Everest views. The top of the hill gives you a sweeping panoramic view of the Khumbu Glacier and some of the most famous mountains in the world. Kalapatthar has beautiful panoramic views of mountains like Mount Everest, Pumo Ri, Nuptse, and Changtse. It also provides you with a chance to see mountaineers as they prepare for their summit attempt on Mount Everest. Lunch at Everest hotel: After returning from Kala Patthar, we will have our lunch at the Everest hotel. Fly back to Lukla: After lunch, we will follow the same route as before and fly back to Lukla. Return to Kathmandu Ultimately, we fly to Kathmandu’s domestic airport for your return trip and reach Kathmandu by 12 pm.
