The scenery of the mountains is breathtaking the entire way to Lukla. Meet the rest of our staff in Lukla as you arrive at the airport to begin your trek. While ascending the ridge, the trail provides superb excellent views of the Himalayas and the Nagzumba glacier, which is the largest Glacier in the world. After taking pictures, we return to Gokyo. After spending some amazing time at the Gokyo Ri, we head back to our accommodation and get our belongings before departing for Macchermo. We take the same road back to Macchermo and ultimately spend the night at a Macchermo guesthouse.
After leaving Machhermo, we travel onward to Namche Bazaar, the region's commercial center. We follow the same route we used earlier to return to Namche Bazaar. A short stroll through the town will take you to some stunning mountain and forest vistas. We can spend the remaining time in Namche exploring the market area and mingling with the locals if we arrive early. Spend the evening at a guesthouse in Namche.
Our road descends through more lovely Sherpa villages before reaching the bank of the Dudh Kosi River. After crossing the river, the trail continues through a forest via Dingboche before ascending to Tengboche. Following a river crossing and a descent through a rhododendron forest to reach Kanjuma, a short trek to Namche Bazaar offers wonderful views. On reaching Lukla, we will rest overnight at a lodge.
We return back to Kathmandu from Lukla via scenic airplane flight which must not take more than 40 minutes. After reaching Kathmandu you can relax or go shopping in Kathmandu. Later, we organize a farewell dinner for you. We appreciate you choosing trekkers in Nepal to manage your travel.
